The Shape

The Treatment

Shaping the lips instantly makes them look slightly fuller with a more defined shape. We only work within the lips and on the lip line. Going over and onto the skin outside the lip is not an option as this will not give the best results.

The Treatment

After treatment your lips will be bold and darker in colour. They may also be swollen and feel tender. This is normal and any swelling and tenderness will go down after a day or 2. The colour will fade and by day 5 you will be able to see a true reflection of what colour your lips will be.

The Aftercare

All aftercare is provided and is a key part of the healing process. Your true results won't be complete until you've had the 2nd part of your treatment. Your lips will go through a few stages of healing but by day5/6 the lips will have finished flaking and the true colour will be coming through.

Can it make my lips bigger?

We only work in the lips and up to and on the border of the lips. Going over the lips will not give a nice finish. However it does define the looks which gives the illusion of slightly fuller lips

Does it hurt?

There is a small scratching sensation but once numbed pain in minimal. Pain however is subjective so it is advisable to avoid treatment when on your period and follow the pre care as this plays a factor.

Can I have lip blush if I have or will have filler

Yes lip blush works well with filler. You do however need to wait 6 weeks until having lip blush if you have recently had filler.

I suffer from cold sores, can I have this treatment?

Yes you can although this can not be done if you have an active cold sore. You will need to take medication on the day of treatment and 3 days afterwards to reduce risk of getting one. This will be discussed in your consultation

How long does it last?

This does depend on your skin & life style. This can last from 12-24 months before requiring an annual top up.

What colour can I have?

At your appointment will we go through the colours and look at all the options. If you have a favourite lip stick please bring this.

Who can have Lip Blush?

If your lips are a light colour of pink and have light skin or Fitzpatrick 1-3 then you will be able to have lip blush. If you have darker skin/Fitzpatrick 4-6 then please contact me as you may require a different technique.
